Summary:
The Good Doctor, Neil Simon's tribute to Russian playwright Anton Chekov, is a comedy dedicated to the simple, yet strange stories of human experience. The audience will be delightfully entertained by vignettes ranging from a tale of a very concerned and dedicated father who thrusts his son into manhood by purchasing a prostitute to a witty lecture on the how-to’s of seducing married women. It's the perfect blend of poking fun at the characters and ourselves; just what the doctor ordered.

SAM I AM
directed by Ann Hsieh

Friday, April 18th,
Part of CSA's China Night Showcase
Bailey Hall

Summary:
In his first produced play, S.A.M. I Am, Garrett Omata tied together the world of personal ads, conflicts over interracial dating, and the curious literary success of certain angry white males with nothing much to say – and made these discrete elements a romantic comedy with both a heart and a mind. As both a divinity student and a comic book writer, Garrett Omata brought a unique perspective to the stage.

Cornell’s Asian American Playhouse also produced S.A.M. I Am 2 years ago.
