The Local Community
AIESEC Cornell is structured into 4 teams, each of them offering a specialized set of skills and challenges:
The Exchange team recruits, prepares, and finds international traineeships for Cornell students. We re-integrate students returning from exchange. We stay current with new traineeships available to Cornell students, as well as connect these students with the receiving members of the Local Community.
The Events Team promotes cultural exchange by impacting others, whether it’s through Global Village (countries setting up tables to exhibit their own cultures), movie screenings, traineeship panels, or even themed socials! If you are enthusiastic about reaching out into the Cornell community to spread cultural awareness, join Events!"
The Recruitment and Talent Management team organizes recruitment drives, and oversees induction of new members. The team ensures the active participation of all members and plans events to encourage engagement.
The Public Relations team provides material support for the rest of the teams. Team members will work on effective marketing techniques, creating materials, and distributing them. PR is also concerned with AIESEC’s image on the Cornell Campus both with departments and other student organizations. Likewise, PR members work on polishing their pitching and sales skills.
