Among these are: <ul> <li> Women's Volleyball</li> <li> Women's and Men's Soccer</li> <li> Women's and Men's Basketball</li> <li> 150's (Sprint) Football - Nothing like Friday night with a bunch of lightweights....</li> <li> Field Hockey (Get a chance to practice those sieve cheers in early fall)</li> <li> A single non-ivy-league Varsity Football Roadtrip</li> <li> Lacrosse (10 Goals = Davy in 3)</li> <li> Ice Hockey, eh.</li> </ul> The Pep Band has a virtuous and hard-working staff to keep it running. Since the band only gets 51 tickets to those games, we need some system to determine who gets those precious little pieces of paper. Because the Pep Band is poor it has no recordings whatsoever for us to display to you the musical talent and verve which we possess. Instead we can describe to you the type of Music we play. During our existence we have also had the ?mis?fortune of very colorful press coverage of our organization. For your reading edification, we have included a <a href="http://www.rso.cornell.edu:8000/BRPep/page/media.html">sample</a> of some of the most resplendent media attention we've received. <p>If you want to get into a hockey game free and sit in the godly Section A in one of those great red and white striped shirts then you need to have a priority point total in the top 50 of those who've signed up (instrumentation concerns may affect this somewhat, Tuba's may have it a little easier, while some woodwinds may have a more difficult time getting tickets.) Also, if you are a current member or alum, you can subscribe to the Pep Band email list, <a href="http://www.rso.cornell.edu:8000/BRPep/page/announce.htm">pepband-l</a>.</blockquote> <img SRC="ECAC.gif" height=60 width=79><b><u><font size=+2>The ECAC</font></u></b> <blockquote>The Pep Band is often noted as the best Pep Band in the ECAC, and can sometimes be found defending its title against the only other formidable hockey band in the east, the <a href="http://www.rpi.edu/dept/union/pep/www/">RPI Pep Band</a>. <p>Other Pep Bands in the ECAC are: <ul> <li> Harvard</li> <li> Colgate</li> <li> Clarkson</li> <li> SLU(T)</li> <li> Brown</li> <li> Vermont</li> </ul> Sometimes these bands can be seen invading Lynah and leaving pitifully unhappy, outplayed and shutdown. More often they cower when we design to bring some Cornell cheer to their rinks. Actually, it's always nice to have two bands in an arena, and since we're nice people and always like to see other musicians, we enjoy their existence.</blockquote> <blockquote>Since you are here, you are probably a hockey fan.
