Asia Night
Asia Night is our largest event. Asia Night 2007 utilized the power and resources of more than 15 organizations to showcase the culture of Asia as a whole. The event attracted more than 600 students and was showcased in our university's newspaper--the Cornell Daily Sun--as well as the Cornell Chronicle.
More important, however, is the process Asia Night was organized. The committee that planed the night was composed of membership from CAPSU. Accordingly, the creative and logistic operations were the combined effort of students representing each of our member organizations. It is our hope that we can continue to facilitate active work between groups of our membership.
AFKN - Asian Film and Karaoke Night
Asian Film and Karaoke Night was a one-time event which we were fortunate to hold in the Fall of 2007. Wong Fu Productions, www.wongfuproductions.com, presented their first full-length movie "A Moment with You" while on tour around the U.S. and Canada. The event was coupled with food, karaoke and a chili-rice eating contest.
