Hey Family,As we have seen, throughout the life of the early church recorded in
Acts, an essential part of the ministry of the Spirit was in the
prayers of the disciples (Acts 2:42-43, 3:1, 3:19, 4:23-31, 6:4, 6:6).
So, how are our own prayer lives? Are we seeing the power of the
Spirit and refreshing work of the Lord through prayer? Joining us this Friday, we will have a guest speaker, Cathy Charles,
who is a pastor's wife from upstate New York and a close friend of
Professor Parks (our faculty adviser). She will speak on the topic of
prayer and some of the challenges many of us may be facing as we seek
a life of fervent and faithful prayer. Please join us at Phillips 101 at 7:00 PM on Friday. Also, don't forget to bring your Winter Retreat Registration!
"For if their purpose or activity is of human origin, it will fail.
