Sunday, September 18, 20059/18/2005 10:54:00 PM Friday 9/23: Joint fellowship with KCCE and GCF! Speaker: Greg Jao (from Urbana 2004!) Please arrive promptly at Goldwin Smith HEC Aud. at 7pm. Don't be late! The first coworkers meeting occurred this afternoon with a total attendance of 11. The mintues are included below: 9/18/2005 Coworkers Meeting (2:00-3:00pm) We voted on several issues and discussed suggestions and feedback. 1) Vote: Implementation of Prayer Slips - unanimous approval 2) Vote: Cancellation of CBS large group meeting on 10/7 (Friday before Fall break) - 10 approved, 1 abstained - so there will be no formal meeting on the evening of 10/7 (people staying in Ithaca are encouraged to meet together and can still use Phillips 101) 3) We are in the process of deciding events for 10/14 in light of Student Volunteer Movement 2 (SVM2), meeting that night - details to follow4) Q&A and Feedback/Suggestion topics included discussion regarding: Inreach plans, sharing from visiting alums, ways to encourage sharing and spiritual friendship in Bible studies, incorporating all parts of CBS LG (including announcements) into a more cohesive night of worship (idea of incorporating public prayer requests into announcements). If you have questions or comments re: coworkers, please direct them to Oliver (osc3) or Will (wrl5). We hope to hold coworkers every 3-4 weeks and hope the fellowship will use it as an opportunity to voice concerns, suggestions, ideas, and also to hold the servant team accountable. All CBSers are encouraged to attend as this is the fellowship that God has provided for us and He's allowed us to play a role in where it's headed!!
