This Friday night, the Institute of Biblical Studies will be held at Call Auditorium in Kennedy Hall (beside trillium) at 7:30pm.
Dr. William Edgar will be giving a talk entitled "Can we be good without God?" (blurb below)

We encourage all CBSers to go, but if you're not interested, there will be a praise/sharing gathering in Phillips 101 at the normal time, 7pm.

Both are great ways to worship God, so lets approach them with an honest heart!

ACEs will be afterwards in apartments - and there's a skit meeting for those involved at 9:30pm in the room that's been used the past two weeks.

In exploring several answers to this question, we will consider the relationship of goodness to power, and locate the source of goodness in the love of God. The lecture will be illustrated with accounts of goodness and power in Augustine's Confessions, in Chinese Cultural Christians, and in the village of Le Chambon-sur-Lignon during the Second World War.
