Sunday, February 11, 2007CBS Coffeehouse2/11/2007 10:11:00 PM This year, our annual CBS Coffeehouse will be taking place on Saturday, March 3. Coffeehouse is an evening for us to serve our friends by sharing with them the news about Jesus! It's a night that includes testimonies by family, a skit, Chinese desserts, and more! As we prepare, we have lots of logistical 'stuff' to take care of (more on that below!), but more importantly.. we need, as a family, to be unified and focused; we need to pray as much (or more) for our own hearts as we do for the hearts of our friends. Remember: if we call ourselves Christians, then we are always giving a witness about the God we serve--sometimes we live out a good one, and other times.. our lives are slander and lies. So, in a way, you're already sharing with your friends; let's make sure that our message is true: "Taste and see that the Lord is good!" (Ps 34:8a). We invite you guys to also pray and consider helping to make Coffeehouse happen. If you're interested in being involved with the skit, decorations, cooking, or sharing a brief testimony... let us know! If you're interested in continuing to learn God's heart for evangelism and prayer for our friends (beyond even Coffeehouse prep), let us know! But most of all, please be asking for our friends and families by name; we want them as brothers and sisters in Him.
