Members of the Cornell Figure Skating Club often choose
to continue taking lessons from coaches in the Ithaca area. The following is a

PE Classes
Cornell also offers several skating physical education classes. The figure
skating classes meet on Monday and Wednesday mornings in the fall, and Monday,
Wednesday and Friday in the spring (but only until spring break). They are
currently taught by Linda McKeown. There are three levels—beginning,
intermediate, and advanced. Many skaters from the Cornell Figure Skating Club
take PE classes and use them for extra practice.
Other Programs
The Rink in Lansing has a Learn-to-Skate Program on Sunday afternoons. This
program covers U.S. Figure Skating's Basic Skills curriculum. Contact The Rink
for more information and current offerings.
There are group lessons, often taught by Linda McKeown and members of the
Cornell Figure Skating Club, at Cass Park in the winter. Call 607 273 9211 for
