Cornell Juggling Club's Seventh Annual Big Red JuggleFest

November 7-9, 2003

Cornell University, Ithaca, NY

Here's how to get to Cornell's campus:. Directions to Cornell University

Once you're on campus, you're looking for the Field House or Bartels Hall. Same building, two names. Once you get to the building, you want the Ramin Room (some people know it as the room with the astroturf and climbing wall). This has been the festival room for the last two years; many of you will recognize it. If you walk in the main glass doors to the building, take an immediate right and the room is there in front of you. There should be signs up. Also, if you're driving, park across the street in the Crescent Lot which sort of looks down on the football stadium. This will be free all day Saturday and Sunday and on Friday after 5pm. If you want to try and get a map of campus ahead of time, click here - this is near the part called "Cornell Athletics." Also, if you think you want to spend the night in Ithaca, ask us for floor space/couches (preferably ahead of time), or look for actual lodging here.

Feel free to bring all the equipment you want and have a blast (BUT: no knives and no torches please). We have the room all day Saturday (before and after the show) and also Friday evening and Sunday morning. There will be plenty of time for fun, games, and maybe even some unofficial combat. People also seemed to enjoy our unicycle-ultimate last year and I think we will do that again, so feel free to bring a unicycle. Saturday will also include games, workshops, vendors (we know that at least Todd Smith and Oddsports should be there, but we're not 100% sure who else) and raffle items, t-shirts and more. Of course, show tickets will be on sale.

We have a great variety in our show this year and it should be awesome. Ithaca's own Hilby will be Master of Ceremonies and do some bits too, while the rest of the show will feature Ivan Pecel (he's won some IJA 3 Ball competitions) and Vova and Olga Galchenko (World Record holders for club passing and also came in 2nd at the IJA teams competition this year!) We will also have Jen Slaw as a guest performer (also a 3 ball IJA winner). This whole show is taking place at the beautiful State Theatre in downtown Ithaca. Show time is 8pm. Tickets are $5 for kids 12 and under, $10 for anyone at the festival or students at the door, and $15 for adults at the door. Tickets can be bought at the festival and they are also available at The Ticket Center at the Clinton House, Willard Straight Hall and Dillingham Center. For tickets, call (607) 273-4497, outside Tompkins County 800-284-8422.
