I grew up hitting on the clay courts of Holland, where I started playing tennis at around the age of 6. I idolized Pistol Pete Sampras growing up, was a Marat Safin fan briefly (till i realized he'll never keep it together for more than a couple weeks at a time), and now follow Djokovic and the Nadal-Federer rivalry. I played singles all through high school, but I think doubles tennis is the best social sport around and definitely enjoy a good doubles match. I like to think I serve-and-volley, and I adopted a one-handed backhand when Federer broke through and I realized most great champions in the past have had one-handers..
