Original Guard site has a new domain...

Colorguard dates back to ancient paegentry events and ceremonies where the appearance of flags, banners, and props were commonplace. Today we still see colorguard influences in ceremonies of all sorts, including military and patriotic events. The creation of competitive games came naturally in the evolution of colorguard and has now grown into an international effort to promote sharing and communication between the pageantry family of guards, percussion ensembles and marching bands.

At Cornell University, the colorguard provides entertainment during football pre-game and half-time shows as well as promoting the spirit of Big Red athletics before, during, and after games. We often accompany the football team to away games in order to support our team.
