Campaigns - CAFTA Working Group
[Cajibío | SOA/WHINSEC | Bikes | CAFTA]

The working group on the Central American Free Trade Agreement (CAFTA) started after the October 2004 lecture "Seeds versus Greed" by Guatemalan agronomist Carlos Muralles. Our first meeting was on December 6, 2004.

From this working group sprouted the Cornell Coalition for Trade Justice (CCTJ), which collaborated with student, youth, and community organizations. Its purpose was to activate the public to demand an more economically fair and sustainable global trade policy.
