Summer 2007 Conversational Spanish Classes

Do you need to learn Spanish for work, research, travel, or fun?

The Committee on U.S.-Latin American Relations (CUSLAR) will be offering conversational Spanish classes, running from May 21 through June 27. Classes are taught by native speakers and are geared toward conversational fluency. Contact CUSLAR for more information or to register at cuslar@cornell.edu, (607) 255-7293.

Class fee: $280 for the summer session, due directly to the teacher by the second class (May 23). Refunds for dropped classes are offered until June 1.

For the classes, we'll use a textbook called Puntos de Partida: An Invitation to Spanish. The authors are Knorre et al. It's quite common. The newest edition (7th) is pricey, but we use the 6th edition, printed in 2001. You can find it on sites such as Amazon or eBay. It should be under $20, even $10.
