Congratulations for winning 2nd place at the Asia Night booth contest! That's a major accomplishment for a club of our size and limited funds. We won a Samsung digital camcorder with an 8gb sd card!! Just what we needed =P

Update 2/21/09

Asia Night is TONIGHT at 8:00pm-1:00am. If you signed up to be a volunteer, come when you can and wear your CVA shirt! All other attendees $3 charge. Please come to Joe's at 6:30pm to help us prepare our booth!

Next g-body meeting will be Wed. 2/25 at 5pm GSH 162. We will be assigning more tasks for Cafe.

We are volunteering to help serve food for CFA's event, "Sama-Sama" next Saturday 2/28. Check your email for details.

February Birthday Dinner & CVA/CFA Mixer!

As you all know, we will be having a dinner for all February birthdays on Friday at Applebee's. We will be providing rides, picking people up at 6:00 to arrive at Applebee's at 6:30. We will have dinner, then head back to Joe's apartment where we can chill out until the CVA/CFA mixer.

Please RSVP with Joe. Details about rides will be emailed tomorrow.

Also, if you plan to go, please bring cash to make paying the check easier.

T-Shirt Design Complete!

The T-shirt design is finally complete! Michelle Huynh and I finished the design in Photoshop/Illustrator. You can view them here:

Here is the LIST of people who have signed up for a shirt:

Those people who are not on the Google Doc, please reply back to me ASAP with your size (e.g. I am Men's M). I am placing the FINAL order by tonight (Wednesday). If you do not get back to me by the meeting (I will ask one final time at the meeting), you WILL NOT get a shirt!

We will most likely be charging $5 for each shirt depending on the price quote that I will be given tomorrow by Bear Necessities (the T-shirt company). I will let you all know ASAP what we will be charging.

Also, if you would like to purchase more than one shirt, please let me know as well.

Sat 2/21 8:00PM-1:00AM – CAPSU Asia Night

Duffield Hall. CVA will have a booth at Asia Night. Food such as egg rolls and banana & tapioca pudding will be served. Games include Bau Ca Tom Cau (Viet. Dice game), Viet Jeopardy, and Viet Kite Making. Come support CVA either by volunteering or participating in the food and games provided!
