Information for the Career Fair
Q: What do I wear?
Students must wear formal clothing to the career fair. It is important to look professional in front of employers.
The following are recommended:
- Shirt
- Slacks/Pants/cotton trousers
- Dark socks
- Shoes
The following are optional:
- Blazer/Suit jacket
- Sweater
- Tie
The following are not recommended:
- Any sort of casual top (hoodie, common branded sweatshirt, T-shirt)
- WHITE SOCKS
- Sneakers, boots, or sandals
- Piercings on ear, nose, lip, etc.
- Hat
- Jeans, shorts, baggy pants
Q: What do I bring?
- Several copies of your resume for multiple employers
- Pen
- A pad/notebook for jotting down quick notes
- Confidence & knowledge of company-> Employers like to see students who can articulate their strengths & convey knowledge of the company

Students should create a profile on Cornell CCNet in order to submit resumes, to find job postings, publish to resume books, and find out about employer info sessions. For students who want to participate in on-campus recruiting seeking jobs throught Cornell Career Services, it is necessary to use CCNet.
