For Seminar Speakers:

  1. Please create a flyer using the template provided here
  2. provide a title and an abstract and optionally some graphics on the flyer
  3. change the date to the date of your talk
  4. send the flyer file to Sasikanth Manipatruni (sm448)

To access the listserv:

  2. Login: use the email to which you receive EDS notices
  3. Password: el******

To access the webpage:

  1. ftp to: www.rso.cornell.edu
  2. Login: eds
  3. Password: eD******

Each year we need to re-register as an RSO (around July 1st). To do this:
1. Get an advisor (Post-doc is OK)
2. Go to the RSO site at Cornell to register our organization: http://sao.cornell.edu/SO/
-We are an "Independent" organization
-We do not need to fill out the advisor form
-update the constitution found above and submit it
3. Once we're registered, we need to apply for webspace:
http://www.sao.cornell.edu/so/webspace_pre.php
All the webfiles from the previous year are still available on the /www.rso.cornell.edu server, but you can't access them unless you re-apply for webspace.
