WASTELAND JAZZ UNIT are coming from Cincinnati to melt our faces off with crazy saxo-mo-phone and clarinet experimental noise. ideal sunday, duh. Affectionately described as: “Your dead mom yelling at you through a broken furnace while outside trains are squealing and crashing into retarded 4 year olds who are killing cats with shards of glass at a pool party.” yeah!

Opening are local a noise duo with Jarek Miller (from AMERICAN SPHINX) and Jason Zorn (The Hogwashers, Bayou Road Krewe). Ithaca music is about community music.

Also opening are Elsa and the awesomeAWESOMES (CU’s own Sam Sveen). You know him and love him because he’s only one person! He plays live drums and has enough energy for 10 people, you know?
