Dinner Social

We will be having a dinner social in Collegetown this Thursday, November 19th, from 6:00 to 7:00 PM, at Ruloff's (located right next to Collegetown Bagels). You will be able to choose your entree out of ten options, which include pastas, burgers, salads, etc. We ask all attending members to pay $3 and Golden Key will cover the remaining amount. Members will also receive *1 POINT* for attending this social event.

An online mentoring literacy program called, In2Books, is looking for volunteers to help elementary school children embrace the love of reading and writing. In2Books pairs volunteers with elementary school students, and these pairs read the same five books and correspond via online letters about the important issues in the books. In2Books asks for about 2 hours a month from now until May as you volunteer by online correspondence with these elementary school students. It is a great opportunity to help the younger generation improve their literary skills and to encourage their love of reading--all without moving from your seat! You will receive *5 Points* for participating in this program.

| Blood Drive |
Golden Key will be sponsoring a blood drive with the American Red Cross on TUESDAY, 12/1. The blood drive will be held from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM in the Biotech Building, Room G10. You will receive *3 POINTS* for donating blood. Please contact Samuel Kim at sk544@cornell.edu if you wish to donate blood during one of the given times. Also, please contact Paula at 255-1300 or email pr37@cornell.edu to reserve your appointment slot (In your email to Paula, please explain that you slot has been reserved by Golden Key). We are looking for volunteers to donate blood during these time slots (on Tuesday, 12/1):
1:00 PM - 4 slots available
1:15 PM - 3 slots available
1:30 PM - 7 slots available
1:45 PM - 6 slots available |
