Caleb

Caleb Chao: President

Caleb is a senior at Cornell University, majoring in Industrial and Labor Relations and minoring in Real Estate. In addition to Golden Key, Caleb is an Associate covering the Healthcare sector in the Mutual Investment Club of Cornell, an active brother in Delta Sigma Pi professional business fraternity, and an active member in his Christian fellowship group, GCF. In his free time, Caleb enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling to new places, participating in volunteer work, playing the guitar, eating anything and everything, photography, and playing sports. Upon graduation, Caleb plans to return back to the best city in the world, New York City, and to work in financial services.

Jeff Chen: VP of Activities

Jeff is a senior in CALS, majoring in biology and minoring in AEM. Hailing from Los Angeles, California, he enjoys how “invigorating” the Ithaca winter is (i.e. he hates the cold). He is a brother at ΑΣΦ-Rockledge and enjoys bumming around his big old frat house. He loves singing, playing guitar, and is the vocalist for his band, “The Hogg Party”. Sometimes you can catch his solo-performances at Willard Straight as part of the “Noontime music series”. He also conducts research under Dr. William Ghiorse, studying Cryptosporidium parvum. After graduation, he is headed towards medical school, where he will not see the light of day for 4 years. He hobbies include eating, skateboarding, cooking, playing video games, eating, watching TV/movies, hanging out, and eating.

Sunna

Sunna Jo: VP of Communications

Sunna is a senior in the College of Arts and Sciences. She is majoring in Biology and minoring in East Asian Studies. She is a Biology Student Advisor, is involved with Cornell Health International and does research in neurodegeneration. After graduating, she hopes to attend medical school and work in international human rights. She is from Queens, NY, and enjoys spending time with friends, reading, and playing volleyball.

Samuel

Samuel Kim: VP of Service

Samuel is a senior in the school of Human Ecology, majoring in Human Biology, Health, and Society. Besides the Golden Key Honour Society, he is also involved in other organizations such as the Human Ecology Research Association and the Korean Church of Cornell English Ministry. Along with academics, Samuel is also involved in research under Professor David B. Wilson studying the mechanisms of cellulose hydrolysis by cellulases. Samuel hopes to attend medical school after he graduates and aspires to become a physician working with patients both domestically and internationally. His hobbies include sports such as football and basketball and spending time at the fitness center.

Bryan Mori: Treasurer Bryan is a senior in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences majoring in Applied Economics and Management. He is still weighing his options for after graduation. Bryan grew up and resides in Los Angeles but has recently spent most of his summers in Japan to visit friends and relatives. When he is not doing school work, he enjoys watching hockey, particularly the Kings despite their consistent mediocrity. Traveling is
also another passion of his.
Ellen Ellen Quarmby: Academic Rec. Chair

Ellen is a senior biology major in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.  She plans on eventually going to medical school, but is considering getting a master’s degree in a warmer climate first.  Hailing from Seneca Falls, the “birthplace of women’s rights,” she has lived in New York her whole life and is ready for a change of scenery.  In addition to her involvement with Golden Key, Ellen is a member of NSCS and Zone, and is also a grader for AEM 2100.  In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with family and friends, going on trips, and catching up on her sleep.

Michelle

Michelle Sun: VP Hononary Members

Michelle is a senior physics major with a biology concentration. She enjoys Cornell, especially her classes, but she knows her true home is in sunny California where there are imported palm trees but always-authentic sunshine. She really likes to paint, scrapbook, be outside, have good conversations, and eat tasty food. At Cornell, she is a Student Assistant at Alice Cook House and a TA for autotutorial biochemistry, and is involved in research and Cornell Outdoor Education. She loves little kids and one day hopes to be a pediatrician.
