The Cornell Greek Dance Troupe teaches the ethnic dances of Greece and performs at many events at Cornell. If you are interested in learning some of the ethnic dances or you just love Greek dancing, then this group is for you! If you have a lot of dancing experience, feel free to teach some of the dances you know. Below, you can find the syllabus, including some of the dances that were taught.

Our main goal is to HAVE FUN!
Secondarily, we aim to perform at our annual Evening of Greek Music and Dancing in March and at various Cornell events. 

 

 Your participation is critical

  • There is no dance group without dancers.
  • Come every week, we don’t have a lot of time and we will need to practice at least one hour
    per week.
