Iranian Students Organization at Cornell

Archer1 (source: Siavash)Archer2 (source: Siavash)Welcome to the Iranian Students Organization (ISO) of Cornell University web site. The ISO is a non-political organization dedicated to raising awareness of the rich Iranian culture and traditions to the Cornell campus and surrounding Ithaca community. ISO serves as an outlet for social support through the fostering of friendships and a sense of kinship among Iranians and non-Iranians alike. The organization further coordinates efforts to bring aid and support to victims of natural disasters in Iran.

Check the ISO website soon for more information about Spring 2007 events and meetings, including our celebrations for Norouz 1386 in April 2007 (after Spring Break).

Pictures from the 4th annual Sepharadi-Persian Night are now up. Many thanks to SMAC, other co-sponsors, music and dance performers, volunteers, and all those who attended Sepharadi-Persian Night IV for making it the largest, most successful SPN yet!

For more information about ISO, attend one of our biweekly general meetings at 4:30 p.m. in 125 McGraw Hall. The date, time, and location of our next meeting will be posted here as soon as the new semester begins.
