Mary Pat Rouse - Rank: Sandan. M.P. has been playing Judo for about 30 years. She started at Cornell, and also studied at the Budokwai in London and the Braunshweig Judo Verein in Germany. She has taught Judo at Cornell in both the Physical Education department and as a club instructor. She has also taught developmentally disabled children in Germany and physical education college majors in China.
Bill Myers - Rank: Sandan. Bill started Judo in 1975 at the Ardmore, PA YMCA. He has had many wonderful teachers over the years including Tim Redden, Tom Blair, John Demo, Frank Linzi, Nori Kudo, and Tetsuya Higuchi. Bill moved to Ithaca in 1994 and has been teaching Judo at Cornell since 1995. He has participated in the Empire State Games representing the Central Region four times, earning two bronze medals. He has also practiced with and been thrown around by numerous Olympians including Celita Schutz, Liliko Ogasawara, Teamoc Johnson-Ono, George Harris, Jim Bregman, Ruslan Mashurenko, and Jimmy Pedro. He also holds ranks in Kendo (Nidan) and Iaido (Shodan).
