The Judo Club

The Cornell Judo Club is a registered student organization of Cornell University that provides students and members of the community with the opportunity to learn and practice Judo. Members of the club are asked to become members of the United States Judo Federation. This provides the member with additional injury insurance and is required to participate in many clinics and all tournaments.

Members are also asked to pay dues of $25 per semester. Dues go toward purchasing membership in the Niagara Yudanshakai and the United States Judo Federation, to help offset travel costs to tournaments and clinics, and to purchase instructional materials such as books and video tapes.

Although the Judo Club usually practices with the advanced Judo P.E. Class, they are distinct entities. Please see the other pages on this site to determine what you should be joining.

The Kids Class

The Kids Class at Cornell Judo is designed to be a low-stress, fun, educational, and nurturing environment for children to learn Judo. We have both competitive and non-competitive members. Kids join the United States Judo Federation and pay dues of $25 per year.
