KeyElementsRock.com
The Key Elements is a co-ed a cappella group at Cornell University.
Founded in 1989, the group mainly performs pieces in
genres such as classic rock, alternative, punk, and other contemporary popular music we enjoy.
The group also regularly travels to other east coast universities and just recently completed its first international tour in Ireland in January 2009.
Check out "The Proverbial Top," the group's latest CD (avalible now at the Cornell Store), and look out for
the next album which will debut in the spring of 2010.
Known as Cornell's Most Dangerous Sound Machine, as well as Cornell's first and only Vocal Rock group, the Key Elements
is like no other group on campus. Unconventional? Check. Innovative?
Check. Always pushing the envelope? That's a given.

A Cappella United
Come watch The Key Elements perform alongside 12 of Cornell's finest a cappella groups at the 3rd annual A Cappella United on Friday, October 16, 2009. Tickets are $7 and can be purchased online at www.cornellconcerts.com. Doors will open at 6:30 PM and the show will start at 7:00 PM. Don't forget to bring your friends! All proceeds will benefit the United Way of Tompkins County. What's better than giving to charity and getting an awesome a cappella concert in return?

Come audition for the Key Elements!
Thursday Sept. 3 4:30-9:30 PM @ Lincoln Hall, Room 117
Friday Sept. 4 5:00-9:00 PM @ RPCC, Room 105
Your audition will take only a few minutes! All you need to do is prepare a 1-2 minute solo of a song that will show us your vocal ability. No experience necessary!

The Key Elements are planning to record this Fall ’09 semester, with a new CD expected to be on sale next semester!
BTE XIX is Coming!!!
Our annual spring concert, Brave The Elements, will be Saturday, April 25th, 2009, 7:30pm at Statler Hall. Tickets are $9 at the door and $6 from any Element in advance.

Rocktoberfest was a HUGE success!!
Our concert was a hit! We managed to oversell Barnes Hall, as people stood in the aisles to see us perform! With bloody, torn-up t-shirts, crazy skits, and especially some music, we had a great time, and we hope everyone enjoyed our concert as much as we did! Thanks for coming!

The Key Elements is Touring!!
The Key Elements is gearing up for their Winter 2009 Ireland Tour! We will be performing everywhere from north to south Ireland, taking in the rich beauty and viewing lots of famous monuments in cities such as Galway, Killarney, Cork, Waterford, Kilkenny, Dublin, Belfast, and Antrim.
