Here is a description of the initiatives will be focusing on in 2007-2008. We will be focusing on these in small groups during the second and fourth meetings of the month:
Green Fee
Various efforts have been made to fund clean energy and reducing Cornell's carbon output. We hope to work with the administration and the Student Assembly to makes this happen as well using other options. For more information please contact Kenny Sauer (kjs55@cornell.edu)
PUT THE ACTION INTO CLIMATE ACTION!
KyotoNOW! is involved in many initiatives related to climate change. On campus, we work to promote renewable energy and energy efficiency measures that will cut greenhouse gas emissions. In the community, we work to educate the public about climate change, its impacts and how individuals can make a difference. We also work with our partners at other schools across the country and the larger environmental community to raise awareness about this important issue and inspire people to push for positive change.
