Out of the organizations within the Multicultural Greek Letter Council, Alpha Chapter was awarded for going beyond themselves and showing council support in attending every MGLC related program as well as volunteering for every MGLC event.

This award was given to Alpha Chapter for their program "A Night of Poetry," which involved entertainment while expressing social concerns. Through their poetry, the poets expressed issues affecting women, the Latino community and the African American community. This award
is also given to recognize an organization who has put on a consistently high level of programming for the university campus. |
