One of the primary concerns of Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc. has been and continues to be the growth and diversity of its sisterhood. As the first Latin sorority ever created to cater towards the needs of Latinas in the nation, Lambda Theta Alpha recognizes the importance of reaching out to others and forming a united coalition of professional, diverse, culturally and politically aware women. We are not an exclusive group of women and believe that all women alike should be given an opportunity to make their mark in the world. This is our right and our profound legacy. Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc. is a professional organization, a Sisterhood based on Unity, Love and Respect. Lambda Theta Alpha is dedicated to the empowerment of minorities and the universal woman through her education, a love of culture, the disenfranchised and her surrounding communities.
