So as this semester gets underway we will be working towards completely updating and perhaps revamping the website entirely. We ask that you please bear with us while we work out all the kinks and add more conent to the site. Below you will find some information about our upcoming 2009 Conference.

What is M.E.Ch.A.?

When asked what M.E.Ch.A. is Maria B. Bruno answered: "As for what I think MEChA is, for me it's a political and cultural organization that works towards awareness of our culture as well as struggles going on in our communities (local, national, international, etc.). But I do want to emphasize that this organization is not just for people of Mexican descent. Rather, it is for everyone who believes in working towards justice, and so we encourage people to let the organization know if there's something that they want to work on such as immigration rights or farmworker rights)."
