Mailing List Instructions
We have two mailing lists. If you would like to be involved with both the book group and the other NWAEG activities you should subscribe to both lists. If you are only interested in the book group, you can subscribe to only NWAEGCHAT. Most people subscribe to both lists, as mailings are few.
This mailing list serves as our main NWAEG organization member list and includes:
- Announcements about upcoming NWAEG sponsored events
- Campus and community events related to our overall NWAEG mission and activities
- Job opportunities in sustainable agriculture
- Articles related to the NWAEG mission
2) NWAEGCHAT-L
This list includes all information related to the Book Group, including:
- Book group discussion topics and reading lists
- Directions to host's homes
- Summaries of the group discussions
- Related discussions pertaining to the book group

Subscribe to each list by following the directions at http://www.cit.cornell.edu/computer/elist/lyris/join.html.
Digest Format:
Remember for both lists you have the option of having messages arrive in a 'digest' format, in which messages from the list are grouped into one larger message one time each day, instead of being sent one by one. To do this, visit: http://www.cit.cornell.edu/computer/email/using-lists/custom.html and search down the page for 'digest'. For those of you that subscribe to many lists, the digest format is a lifesaver!
