WELCOME
The Organization of Cornell Planners (OCP) exists to build ties and facilitate discussion between students and planning practitioners, domestically and internationally. Its goals include providing a forum for graduate planning students in their academic and professional pursuits, providing graduate student representation within the Department of City and Regional Planning and Cornell University, and building cohesiveness within the Department through social activities, strategic planning, and information dissemination.
OCP activities include fall orientation, spring open house, lectures, social events, and a spring picnic. The organization also sponsors an annual call to action and town hall meeting, bringing together faculty, staff, and students to discuss the department's achievements and future needs.
OCP representatives sit on the Dean's committee and attend faculty and GPSA (Graduate and Professional Student Assembly) meetings in order to allow CRP to participate in the greater communities within our college and campus. |
