1. CLUBFEST
This weekend is Clubfest. Come stop by our table, say hi, and bring any of your friends who are interested in learning about PATCH!

2. FIRST GENERAL BODY MEETING
Next week is our First General Body Meeting. Come to the meeting and learn more about PATCH and all the upcoming events!
You will get to meet the E-board and your fellow PATCH members. This is a great way to start becoming involved with PATCH! It will be a great meeting so we hope to see you there!

3. MENTORSHIP PROGRAM
The Mentorship Program pairs mentors with mentees. Upperclassmen are able to give newer students the guidance and help they need.
For Mentors:
Passionate about your pre-health interests? Enjoy giving guidance and advice to others? Apply to be a mentor in PATCH mentorship program!
- Get involved within the Cornell community as a needed influence to incoming pre-health students
- Help foster new students’ smooth transition to a new environment
- Introduce mentees to Cornell’s social grounds – there will be fun planned PATCH mentorship events
- Offer your guidance on pre-health paths and academic classes through the mentor-mentee relationship development
- An opportunity that will foster leadership, peer management and communication skills that are needed in the pre-health profession
- Be part of a strong peer support and encouragement network in Cornell’s pre-health community!
We are always looking for new mentors to get involved. Apply for this great opportunity!

What is the
Mentorship Program?
-Provides a great leadership opportunity for Pre-med/Pre-health students
-Pairs freshman and transfer students with upperclassmen
-Relieves the pressure and anxiety of assuming a pre-med/pre-health curriculum
-Make friends and get great advice!

What: PATCH Wellness
Program at Loaves & Fishes (includes
free dinner)
When: Every Thursday @
5:00pm-7:00pm
Where: Ithaca
community soup kitchen @St John's Episcopal
Church---Loaves and Fishes. (The big white church by the
Commons, 210 N. Cayuga Street).
***PATCH commutes by T-CAT bus, as a group, to
and from Loaves and Fishes
How: Provide
free health consultations and nutrition lessons to
Ithaca community members. Measure patient
blood pressure, pulse, body mass index (BMI), etc.. Maintain health
charts, tracking patient progress over time.
***No experience necessary--You will be trained
in how to take all measurements
