7:30pm - Both request for breakdown turned down.
7:00pm - Teams will be back tomorrow morning for a 9:00am report time. We hope the wind will let us finish our remaining two sets of the rotation. Forcast is no
6:50pm - End day 1 results up. 1st Cornell 41 pts, 2nd Columbia 59pts, 3rd Colgate 74pts. Just out of qualification in 4th Queen's with 81pts. 2 breakdowns that are currently being heard.
6:46pm - Tomorrow only 2 sets left to finish a full rotation. Winds expected to be light and variable out of the west.
6:40pm - All boats finished; RC packing up and heading in. End Day 1 results will be up shortly.
6:34pm - (10B) Cornell is followed by Colgate, then Columbia.
6:32pm - (10B) Cornell leading at the final leg.
6:23pm - (10B) The wind is back in a lull, boats only hiking in the puffs.
6:20pm - (10B) Last race of the day, Webb over at the start.
6:17pm - (9B) Winds are getting up to 25 sustained. Queens, Cornell, Columbia finish.
6:04pm - Gear and clothes left on the deck are starting to fly everywhere.
6:02pm - (9B) Queen's in the lead around the first mark, Columbia and Cornell fighting it out for 2nd. 2 Boats are over.
5:49pm - Last set of the day, A is finished.
5:44pm - (10A) Cornell holds on for the win in 10A.
5:38pm - Sunset 7:20 today, looks like RC is trying to get atleast one more full set off today. It's going to be a long day on the water for the sailors.
5:34pm - (10A) Up to the second winward mark, Cornell, Queens, then Webb. Puffs rolling down some boats are starting to struggle.
5:24pm - After race 9A, Cornell, Columbia and Colgate are in qualifing position for the America's Trophy @ Cornell later this spring. Queen's is 8 points out.
5:20pm - (9A) Cornell, Columbia, then Webb finish.
5:15pm - (9A) Cornell followed by Columbia at the leeward mark.
4:56pm - Wind picking up, the flag pole is starting to shake more than I thought was possible. Hamilton is droping out of sailing for the rest of the day.
4:43pm - (8B) Cornell flips, but recovers and pulls off a second. Colgate wins.
4:30pm - (7B) Colgate and RPI drop out of the race. Finish Queen's, Columbia, Cornell.
4:08pm - (7B) Winds speed up and down. Queens, Colgate, then Cornell, around the winward mark.
3:53pm - Gusts are hitting up to 30.
3:53pm - (8A) Boats struggling to come in after the race, a few more DNFs that race. Cornell finishing in 2nd behind Colgate.
3:45pm (8A) RIT taking a DNF after the flip, in second earlier this race.
3:42pm (8A) About 4 boats now over.
3:41pm - (8A) First downwind leg, the 2nd (RIT) and 4th place boats flip. Another puff rolls down and they go over again.
3:25pm - (7A) Cornell leading finishing with a 15 boatlength lead while Webb and Queen's are fighing for second. Cornell pulls into first overall.
3:24pm - After 6 sets Cornell and Columbia tied for the lead.
3:22pm - (7A) Cornell has a strong lead going up the second beat.
3:00pm - (6B) RC's has Cornell winning, with Webb 2nd.
2:57pm - (6B) Cornell and Webb catch a puff downwind and fly past Colgate and Queens to a 1,2 finish. Too close to call from shore who won.
2:55pm - (6B) Cornell misses the lefty, and move back to 4th. Colgate leads, with Queen's in 2nd. Cornell fighting with Webb.
2:51pm - (6B) Cornell leading around leward, Webb and Colgate fighting for 2nd.
2:48pm - (6B) Close rounding at the winward mark, Cornell just rounding in first.
2:44pm - (6B) Cornell wins the start. Breeze is picking up again.
2:32pm- (5B) 4 boatlengths from the finish Queen's fouls Webb and spins, moving back from 2nd to 4th, allowing Cornell to pass. Finish order, Columbia, Webb, Cornell, Queens.
2:30pm- After Race 6A Columbia leads the regatta by 1 point over Cornell.
2:28pm- (5B) Another boat over. After two legs, Columbia, Webb, then Cornell.
2:15pm- Its getting warm here in Ithaca, now in the 80's. Teams that started the morning in drysuits are starting to gear down.
2:06pm- (6A) Columbia holds off Cornell for the win. Webb in third.
2:04pm- (6A) Cornell fighting with Columbia on the final leg. The top three (Col,Cor,Web) have a large lead on the rest of the fleet.
2:00pm- (6A) Columbia, followed by Cornell and Webb rounding the leward gate in a tight pack.
1:49pm- (5A) Race over, RIT hold on to the lead, Cornell stays in 5th.
1:46pm- (5A) On the final leg, RIT has a solid lead, Cornell in 5th.
1:44pm- After 4 sets Cornell leads by 3 points over Columbia.
1:13pm- (4B) Col, Queen's, and Cornell each hold on to their positions, finishing 1,2,3 respectively.
1:07pm- (4B) Columbia, Queen's, then Cornell rounding the leeward gate. The front thee have a large lead over the rest of the pack.
1:04pm- (4B) Cornell bangs the right and hits the wind on that side of the course. They recover from their start and round the winward mark in 3rd.
1:00pm- (4B) After the recall, I-flag in effect, and Cornell is over within the 1 min.
12:55pm- (4B) General recall on Race 4B.
12:48pm- (3B) 3rd B race finished, on the final leg Philip Alley '12, Cornell, finds a puff and passes 3 boats for the bullet. The puffy winds on the downwind leg are making or breaking team's race.
12:28pm- Winds picking up, first capsize of the day. About half the sail is covered in mud.
12:08pm- (4A) 4th A race finshed, Columbia pulls out the win with Cornell in second.
11:53am- We are now up to race 4A, and the wind is building out of the South. Cornell is currently winning with a slight lead over Colgate and Columbia.
