Imagine, explore, and write about cutting-edge research, innovative technology, unimaginable discoveries, and great people. Put your design and artistic creativity to use.
Every semester, we hold highly-energetic, open-ended meetings where members brainstorm for fascinating article topics. We cover diverse science and technology issues ranging from using nanotechnology to inject drugs at the cellular level to using 21st century technology to restore painted artwork to interviews with Nobel laureate professors. Do have a burning desire to write about an idea or issue that no one has thought of yet? You're only an article away from doing this at SciTech!

Here are some interesting article titles for the upcoming issue: "DNA link to Genghis Khan", "Engineering and math behind ancient marvels", "Leeches and Maggots, from Medieval Surgery to Modern day ER".

Exercise your incredible artistic creativity by designing layouts and graphics for our magazine, or join the IT team to transform our web site to whatever you can imagine.
Develop your skills in operations, management and leadership.
Writing is not the only thing we offer. With a sizable budget and many prospective readers, we have challenging management and leadership positions for you to take up. For instance, starting this year, we will have an Information Officer position where you have the responsibility to drive changes to the SciTech web site that will lead to growth and publicity. Have a vision for where SciTech should go and what it should be? Become the Editor-In-Chief and leave your mark on this organization. Love operations and management of things? Become the Business Manager or Production Editor and you'll be kept quite busy! Want to learn how all the articles written by students turn into masterpieces on glossy magazine pages? Join us as a Literary Editor and you'll find out.
Get in touch with world-class people and companies.
As an organization belonging to Cornell University, you get access to many resources that you can't otherwise: opportunities to speak with people who are the driving force behind cutting-edge research, connect with R&D people from large institutions, and, uh, increase your chances of getting a job!
Lots of fun!
We always make sure everyone is given opportunities to get involved in SciTech. Every semester, we hold an end-of-the-year dinner where we gather at a restaurant and you get treated, all on SciTech!
