The Strategic Human Resources, Leadership, and Organizational
Effectiveness Group (SHRLOE) at Cornell University is a professional
organization for students in Cornell's
School of Industrial and Labor
Relations (ILR) and the Johnson Graduate School of Management.
SHRLOE (pronounced “sure low”) strives to bring students together to
discuss strategic human resource issues, delve into cutting edge
leadership concerns, and promote understanding of the impact on
organizational effectiveness. Club membership provides students with
educational and professional development opportunities that help
connect classroom knowledge with real world applications as well as
networking opportunities with industry practitioners.
