About

Cornell Sport Tae Kwon Do

We were founded in the Spring of 1987. Cornell Sport Tae Kwon Do has produced local, state, and national tournament champions. Cornell has dominated collegiate Tae Kwon Do competition in the Eastern Collegiate Tae Kwon Do Conference (formerly INCTL) every year since its birth. Master Han D. Cho, our co-founder, is a Cornell alumnus. He owns and operates C.W. Tae Kwon Do in Lansing, New York, and is the current head instructor of the Cornell University Tae Kwon Do Program. He is 7th Degree internationally certified.

Cornell Sport Tae Kwon Do is a separate entity from the Cornell Tae Kwon Do Phys Ed program and from C.W. Tae Kwon Do. Most members of Cornell Sport Tae Kwon Do choose to enroll in a Cornell Tae Kwon Do Phys Ed class and learn the C.W. Tae Kwon Do curriculum. This is not a requirement, but it is recommended.

C.W. Tae Kwon Do

C.W. Tae Kwon Do, which celebrated its twenty year anniversary in the Spring of 2007, was established by Master Han Don Cho, Master Sung Chul Whang, and Master Jun Chul Whang.

C.W. Belt System
