Grappling
Some notes about grappling:
Rules &
Regulations:
1) No free grappling without
permission
2) No mixed gender grappling
during official class sessions.
3) Wear proper safety equipment
at all times
4) Appropriate resistance is encouraged
and graded
5) You must let go immediately
upon tap-out.
6) No heel lock during free grappling.
7) No clothes grabbing.
8) No striking (other than mock
strikes).
9) Apply submission holds gently.
10) Always warm up well beforehand.
Resistance Levels:
1) No resistance (learning)
2) Light (reviewing)
3) Medium (practicing & testing)
4) Heavy (some improvising)
5) Free Grappling
